Larry J. Theurer, CAI, GPPA, President of United Country Theurer
Auction/Realty, LLC, is a graduate of Reisch Worldwide College of
Auctioneering (1976), a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington,
Indiana, acquiring the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI)
designation, and a Graduate of Personal Property Appraiser (GPPA)
designation. He holds a real estate broker license in Kansas, Oklahoma,
Nebraska, Colorado, and New Mexico. Larry is a member of the National
Auctioneers Association, serving on the Board of Directors and as
President in 2002-2004, and a member of the Kansas Auctioneers
Association, serving in many capacities on the board and as its
president. He was awarded the National Auctioneers Association
President's Award of Distinction. Larry and his wife, Sherri, reside in
Wellington, Kansas, and are active in the First United Methodist Church.
His community involvement includes Rotary Club, Wellington FFA, South
Haven FFA, charity auctioneer for Boy Scouts, church events. Larry and
Sherri have 3 daughters, 3 sons-in-law, and 5 grandchildren.

Steve started his real estate career in 2001, after a career in the medical field. Steve started with a large national company selling residential homes, and built up a team of 6 working with him. Steve left that company to take a CEO position with a large franchise company in Wichita, KS. Steve partnered with Larry Theurer in October 2007, in starting a United Country Franchise in what was then the largest metro market for United Country, Wichita, KS. Steve saw the potential with United Country and developing a new business model, with a nimble nitch market driven company. The opportunity with United Country allowed Steve to get back to directly working with buyer and seller clients, as well as managing a dynamic office in the developing “Old Town” area of Wichita. Steve works with historic homes, commercial property, equine property, land sales, bed and breakfast, hotel properties, and normal residential homes. Steve enjoys working with his daughter Amanda and business partner Doug. “The diversity of selling the nitch properties is very exciting and rewarding”, says Steve regarding the United Country Experience.
